The Site...

A unique wetland nature reserve
at the north end of Bassenthwaite Lake, just off the A66.
Open all year round.
Easy access boardwalk: wheelchair and buggy friendly. Seats and Hides in strategic locations allow for quiet observation of wildlife.

Stormy Weather? Please take care and be aware that the site may be partly flooded. Some paths may be soft.
We may also need to close the site for visitor safety at short notice.
